The Presence-Centered Life:
Be With Jesus to Become Like Him
A Presence-Centered Life is a guided six-week pilgrimage into the formative experiences that shaped the life of Jesus and continue to shape ours today. Together, we will explore how God's presence meets us in obscurity, wilderness, grief, friendship, calling, and surrender. Through teaching, reflection, contemplative practice, and spiritual direction, you'll learn how to recognize God's voice, cultivate deeper intimacy, and participate in His transforming work.

Meet Your Guide
Tanya Godsey
For more than 30 years, Tanya Godsey has helped individuals cultivate a deeper awareness of God's presence through ministry, spiritual direction, inner healing, and creative expression.
As an ordained minister, spiritual director, artist, and founder of Redeeming the Story Retreats, Tanya brings a unique blend of theological depth, pastoral wisdom, and experiential formation to every space she leads. She holds a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Christian Counseling and is the author of Befriending God.
Raised in an immigrant church as a pastor's daughter, Tanya's understanding of the Gospel was formed in a community where faith was lived, not merely taught. It was a place where the hungry were fed, the lonely found family, the homeless were welcomed home, and the love of Jesus became a way of life.
Today, Tanya's passion remains the same: creating environments where people can encounter God more deeply and learn to recognize His movement in every part of their story. She believes lasting transformation happens not through striving, but through God's presence.
"God is continually inviting us into intimate relationship and a deeper awareness of His presence. Spiritual direction helps us notice and respond to that invitation." - Richard Foster
