What happens when the weight of responsibility becomes too much to carry? Overwhelm isn’t always just a sign that life is busy. Sometimes it reveals deeper beliefs about what we have to carry, who we have to be, and what might happen if we finally put something down.
In Engaging Overwhelm, we’ll explore what happens in the body when we exceed our capacity, the difference between anxiety and overwhelm, and what our patterns of overfunctioning, resentment, shutdown, and guilt can reveal about our relationship with responsibility, control, capacity, and surrender. Join us for a biblical, trauma-informed conversation that asks a deeper question: You are holding a lot. Who is holding you?

Freedom in Story is for Freedom Academy graduates who desire to gain a more comprehensive understanding of trauma and healing through story work that integrates psychology, neuroscience, and Biblical truth.
This training provides an opportunity for Freedom Academy graduates to expand their training over three days of lecture-style teaching and facilitator-led small group story work.Â
PREREQUISITE: Freedom Academy (online or in-person)
Freedom in Story is for Freedom Academy graduates who desire to gain a more comprehensive understanding of trauma and healing through story work that integrates psychology, neuroscience, and Biblical truth.
