The Freedom Movement Story
Since Freedom Movement's founding in 2014, we have carried the message that you are never too messy, too broken, or too hurt to receive God’s love and walk in victory. We are determined to be a voice of hope sharing about the truth of God’s redemptive love and to start a movement where everyone knows they are seen where they are at and loved as they are.
Creating safe places that foster healing, hope, and the courage to love who God created you to be .
We are Freedom Movement
IT ALWAYS BEGINS WITH ONE PERSON SAYING "YES"
This movement began with one simple question...
Back in 2014, Karrie and a small group of like-minded friends wondered, “What would happen if we created a safe space where women could share their real stories freely?” Our first event did just that. Karrie took the stage in a backyard full of friends and family to share her story and encourage others with the truth of God’s redemptive love. After that first event, it was clear that when stories come to light, freedom can take hold. Freedom Movement rapidly grew from regular backyard gatherings, to larger church hosted events, to speaking series, national tours, and coaching training.
Free People, Free People
Though Freedom Movement began as an organization specifically designed to support and guide women towards freedom and hope, we’re so proud to have expanded our offerings to serve men who need their stories held as well.
Today, our focus is on developing leaders and empowering them with resources and training to carry this work into their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities.
Throughout our whole journey, our mission remains the same, and the heart behind it continues to be personal for each and every one of us on the Freedom Movement team. Freedom Movement is still a place where people can safely share real stories that bring about a very real faith that leads to real freedom. This is our purpose and our commitment from which we will not waver.

Freedom Movement Doctrinal Statement of Fatih
We believe in the Bible.
We believe the Bible is the written Word of God; inspired, inerrant and infallible. (Psalm 19:7-11; John 14:26; John 16:12-15; I Corinthians 2:12-16; II Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe in the Trinity.
There is only one God and in the Trinity there are three eternal and coequal persons: God the Father; God the Son (Jesus Christ); and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 46:9; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14; I John 5:1-8) I Peter 1:16-21; I John 2:27)
We believe in Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ is one Person with two complete natures, divine and human. He is true God and true man. Jesus is God incarnate, being born of a virgin and is completely sinless. He eternally exists as God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. (Isaiah 7:14; John 1:1-14; John 10:30-33; Colossians 1:16-19; Colossians 2:9)
We believe Salvation is for You
We believe that Jesus Christ died for all people, offering His life as a substitute to atone for all sins. The salvation of any person is the work of God alone, by faith alone in Christ. All people who trust in Him as their only means of forgiveness for their sins will inherit eternal life with God. (John 3:1-18; John 6:44-69; John 14:1-6; John 17:3; Hebrews 2:9; Titus 3:47)
We believe you are loved by God
We believe that every person is made in the image of God, and is wholly and dearly loved. (Genesis 1:27; Colossians 3:12)
We believe Jesus is Coming Again
We believe in the personal second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will come for His saints and then rule with them for a thousand years on this earth. He will then establish a new heaven and new earth for all believers to live eternally in the glory of God. (I Corinthians 15:50-55; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:19-20; Revelation 20; Revelation 21; Revelation 22)
